Taakla is beneficial for all kinds of skin disorders. The seeds can be ground into a paste and applied on to skin as well. Taakla contains emodin glucoside, a resin that can burn off excess fat in the body. Eating Taakla can help in combating skin allergies, psoarisis and other skin ailments.
of Kurdu is reported to have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-metastatic, anti-diabetic, wound healing, anti-diarrhoeal anti-microbial properties. Seeds contain saponin of Hyaluronic acid. The seeds act as aphrodisiac, astringent, spasmolytic, cooling and nutritive.
I usually tell all my patients to include seasonal vegetables and fruits in their diet as they not only support immune system but also brings the benefit of soil where cultivation has happened sans fertilizers.
P.s. they may not be HIGH ON TASTE BUT ARE EXCELLENT IN NUTRITION.
